She <\/span>has an extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna of the intermountain west<\/span>.<\/span> <\/span>While serving as Research Faculty at Brigham Young University she gained<\/span> experience with bird and small mammal trapping & monitoring, with an emphasis in pygmy rabbits<\/span>,<\/span> raptors<\/span>, and insects<\/span>. <\/span>She has\u00a0<\/span>extensive <\/span>experienc<\/span>e <\/span>in habitat surveys & range rehabilitation monitoring. She has <\/span>five<\/span> years of experience <\/span>conducting<\/span> botany surveys in the Uintah Basin, including threatened and endangered species.<\/span> <\/span>Janet has<\/span> <\/span>collaborated on<\/span> field research and<\/span> <\/span>coa<\/span>uthored <\/span>reports and proposals for state and federal agencies as well as <\/span>several <\/span>companies in the oil and gas industr<\/span>y<\/span>. Mr. Bigler is a Certified Wildlife Biologist and has a vast knowledge of the plant and animal life of the western United States. He has experience using several wildlife survey techniques including transect surveys, spotlighting, radio telemetry, mist netting, small and mid-sized mammal trapping, reptile and amphibian pit trapping, point counts, nest surveys, and visual encounter surveys. He has managed numerous crews of biological field technicians in conducting biological resource field surveys. He has assisted numerous clients with the permitting process through a variety of agencies including: U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), and California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW).<\/span><\/p>\n
